You throw these small bags in the trashcan? When you see what they’re capable of, you will keep them!

Small bags filled with silicone gel that we get with new shoes usually end up in the trash, most commonly because we believe they are useless, or even, poisonous. The truth is that there is no poison inside, but silicon dioxide which is not edible (that’s why it’s highlighted on the packaging), but it can serve you in the house really well.

Here are some ways you can use these small bags:

  1. Put them in your gym bag
    The main purpose for using these small bags is to absorb extra moisture, so it will do wonders in your gym bag. Bacteria grow in moisty surrounding, and these bags decrease moist, there will be less bacteria. And do you know what that means? Less unpleasant odors!
  2. Put them in a closet with clean towels
    Silica gel in you towel closet can make sure that your towels don’t get damp and keep them smelling nice. This is an especially useful tip for those whose towels stay in the bathroom, which naturally has more moisture and steam.
  • Make you razor last longer
    If you use a disposable razors, and you really throw them away after one use, this is not for you. But if you use them until they are completely dull, this is probably why you should store them in a plastic container, including two silica bags inside. There will be less moisture and your razor will last much longer.
  • Save your phone
